which earls lines to get
which earls lines to get
Hey Im doing an ls1 front brake upgrade and still have the lt1 rear brakes. I see the earls line kit sold for 98-02 and 93-97 cars but I was wondering if they were the same so I could order either one and be fine or if I needed ls1 front lines and lt1 rear lines??
Yes they are different, you will "need" to buy two seperate sets. You could bend the LT1 brackets down/over so the hoses reach but, I would'nt trust it this way. Be on the safe side and get the proper hoses. If price is an issue, just get the front set now, and the back set later. Also, be careful with the C-clips that hold the hoses on, you might be down for a while, when you have to go hunt some.

That's odd, I asked Earls tech support that same question and they told me different. 8asterds, probably just wanted to sell me a extra set of hoses.
Oh well, that was a way back, and I deleted the ABS on that car anyway.
Sorry for any inconvienence. Win some, lose some.
