Question Drop Spindles for a 99 Z28??

Hey guys, I've done a few searches and saw a couple posts that mentioned lowering a camaro by use of drop spindles instead of shorter springs.

Only problem is that I can't find drop spindles for a 99 Z, do manufacturers even make such a product? And if so, where can I find them?

Thanks in advance

Assuming it can be done that way, why? If you're lowering the car, you really need a stiffer spring rate to accomodate that.

I was just curious, I guess I'm going to need the shorter springs after all.

Re: Drop Spindles for a 99 Z28??

If such a product existed I'd be interested. I have an adjustable front ride height setup from ground-control and if I lower the car much more than about an inch below stock I can start to bottom my shocks out (Koni SA).

Say what you will, I think the car looks sweet with about a 2" drop in the front. If there was a product that would enable me to get some additional drop without reducing my shock travel I'd be all over it.

Anyone know of such a product?
