drag racing setup?

In short 93 camaro z28. Suspension is all new stock. Have nitto nt05 dr's 275/40/17's. Car has alot of power. Was wondering why i could do too makebit really dig out of the hole? Sfc's? Torque arm? The tires will hook once they're warm but when they start too cool off a little bit they break loose 1st and 2nd. Also has 4.10 gears and a 3000 stall converter. What should tire pressure be set at? Should i hold the brake too say 3400 then drop the hammer? It does this without the spray so i can't imagine how badits gonna spin come monday once the wet kit is installed
