Does your poly trans-mount vibrate alot?

My stock mount ripped in half a few weeks after I got 3.73's. Now the car vibrates a little more at most speeds, which is to be expected. What isnt expected is the violent shaking at about 65 miles per hour. The dash, center console, and passenger seat are all shaking. I have the Prothane one from Summit.

Does it matter what brand I bought? I'll check the RPM's tomorrow, but its getting very annoying. I dont want to go back to a rubber one and ripp it every week?

Does anyone think the poly mount is merely amplifying the unbalanced stock driveshaft vibrations? I thought about getting an Aluminum one to check but dont have extra cash for it right now.

All poly tranny mounts do it.

I know they will a bit, and during all other speeds its not bad, just 65 it looks like my passenger seat back is about to break off and go into orbit. Even my buddy who has one said the vibration at 65 wasnt normal. Hell now that I think of it even the steering wheel shakes.

No, I forgot about that, but that might explain why since I got my gears it tore the stocker and shakes like crazy with the Poly. I had the driveshaft off when I was swapping rear ends. I think I'll try that right now.

That did the trick. Still a vibration at 65 but its moderate like it is at all other speeds, which is expected. It also stays smooth up into the 100's, unlike earlier when the car would shake insanely. Thanks.
