Do stock SS springs sit lower then stock V6 springs?

Hello, does anyone know if 1993-02 SS Springs sits lower then 1993-02 V6 Springs? I want to put my stock springs on my 2001 V6. But I remember it looking really really high. But when looking at stock ss camaro's, it looks like the car sits lower then ours. So is there a difference in ride height with the ss springs and v6 springs?

No, SS springs will not make your car sit lower than V6 springs. Only if the car had the optional Eibachs would it sit lower. With the V6 car being lighter than the V8, your car would probably wind up sitting higher.

When I test drove a 2000 ss camaro, it seemed lower then stock especially from mine. Even in the rear, ss camaro's can't be any heavier then a v6 rear would. I understand about the front sitting lower on a v8 due to a bigger engine. I guess the only way to find out is to just buy ss stock springs. Thanks for the reply!

I know for fact that that stock SS springs are not lower than than V6 springs. When our club gets to gether with the diferent models of camaro . All the stock camaros are basically the same height, if there is a difference it is not noticeable with the eye.

Really? So you are 100% sure that there will be no difference in height? Because I still have my stock V6 Springs. If its the same height as the ss camaros then I can just put those back on.

Also I noticed that my stock shocks were longer then my agx kyb shocks. By having my kyb shocks and placing my stock springs. Correct me if I'm wrong but it will sit a little lower then having my stock shocks and springs together right?

Shocks do not affect ride height. Your KYB's were probably just compressed, or your stock shocks extended when you compared their lengths. Once they are in the car, both shocks will extend to the same lenght, otherwise you wouldnt be able to bolt them up.

Wouldn't simply doing a side by side comparison decide? I have a set of SS springs, when I pull the ones off my '94 V6, I'll take measurements etc.
