Different rear stock decarbon shocks? RV vs g4

Hello, I purchased a set of used Decarbons off a memeber of this board(who lied and said there were blisteins but anyway), they came of a SS, there orange decarbons and there model number is g4, they look up like came off of my 94 formula, so we go to put them on my friends 94 trans am gt, and his shocks that come off are "wv" and there about half the size in diamater. My blistein shocks and the r4's are the same in thickness it looks like, so did they change shocks in the middle of year, them schocks that came of this car the "wv" model are so little I think they would fit in a paper towel cardboard thingy. I thought all fbodies 93-02 got the same stock decardbon shocks and in 1994 you could get a SS level 1 etc, but I thoguht there were blistein or koni shocks. So any idea guys, thanks

That would be the Decarbon SS shock which also was used on I believed the 96 1le Camaro also. They are superior shocks compared to Regular bilsteins and z28 Decarbons
