Does anyone know of a company that makes a cover for the 9 bolt rear, that has a filler plug AND a drain plug?

 

If you mean a 9 inch ford rear axle.. they have no rear cover, but there is already a drain and fill hole on the housing. If you mean a 10 bolt chevy rear axle, SLP makes a 10 bolt cover that is stock but has a drain plug welded on it. The fill on a 10 bolt axle is on the passenger side front part, there is a pipe plug in the housing.

For a 3rd generation 9 bolt Australian built posi-rear.

 

No replacement BW 9-bolt covers are available. One was under development by 9-bolt.com but nothing new from them.

 

look on thirdgen.org in the aftermarket section...there is one that should be for sale by spring

 

i looked forever for a customer with no luck. i ended up just bead blasting his and giving it back to him to paint

 

Only the one sample was made of the Aluminum BW 9-bolt Hgs Cover and nothing new has been written about it on 3rdgen.org for long time now. So don't hold your breath waiting for one to be ready for sale soon. The Market for the 9-bolt is drying up at a rapid pace since its been out of production since 1989. So the money to market the items is not there.
