clunk up front

clunk up front
Im sure this is a stupid question, but my car has developed a clunk up front on the drivers side when I hit a bump. just curiuos what the cause would be. ball joint maybe? or do I need new struts?
lol listen for anything unordinary, specifically anything relative to a clunk.
