Car is hard to keep in a strait line, very hard steering??

alright, since i lowered my car it has been just brutal as far as staying in the tire tracks. it follows every little change in the road. sending me left and right, on rough roads its hard to stay in the same lane.

is this cause i need an alignment " already got one when i lowered it "
or whats goin on here, the steering is very stiff and just makes the car wonder around.

anyone else have a similar problem?

this is under daily driving conditions?

I've noticed I have this problem too, moreso after lowering BUT I have a hunch that its the play in my steering wheel making it that much more noticable... (steering rack is the cause of my play)
