Can't get new pads to fit over rotor...

I compressed the piston back in with the c-clamp, but the pads still aren't making enough room to get over the rotor. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Can't get new pads to fit over rotor...

you sure the piston fully seated and the pads are seated properly?if so id try a new set of pads cause theres no reason it wont fit.also befor eyou hit the caliper with the c clamp i hope you pinched of the line and cracked the bleeder?the old days of squeezing piston dont cut it with abs since you push a lot of sediment back into the lines and accumilator..fyi

I got it in, but I didn't pinch off the line and crack the bleeder. Since I failed to do so, what do I need to do now?
