Can it be done? Tubular k-member install w/o pulling motor?

I had plans to finish my motor this spring and doing everything at once. Once I realized how much money is needed for closing costs for a house, I'm going to put it off till next spring.

I have a BMR tubular k-member and I was wondering if anyone has installed one without pulling the motor completely out of the car, just suspending it. Would it be a huge PITA to do it from underneath or should I just wait till next year and do it when I swap motors?

its probably gonna be a big PITA to pull it while the motor held up...id just wait till the motor rebuild and make it easier

I installed 2 BMR tubular K members by suspending the motor (used a happy hooker bracket)...straight forward.

Yeah, I've dropped my K member by suspending the motor, I had no problems and I would not hesitate to do it w/o pulling the motor. You should be fine.

I did mine on a lift and used some pole jack to hold the engine in place. no problem.
