Caliper spring popped out, how to get it back in

Hey im workin on a 97 camaro. Were changing the rear brake pads and when we were using the c-clamp to depress the piston the spring here, listed as #4, popped out of place, i was wondering if theres a way to get it back in without professional help

It's a spring for your emergency brake; set one end in position and use channel locks to compress the spring to set the other end.
