Caliper Bolt/Pin Grease?

I was told that it would be ok to use anti-sieze on the caliper bolt/pins as lubrication. Is this true? Is there somthing better? Thanks

Re: Caliper Bolt/Pin Grease?

I had a caliper pin freeze up on me this summer. So, when I got a new caliper I just put some regular grease on the pin. That's what was on the pin when I got them. So I would assume that's what you should use.

Re: Caliper Bolt/Pin Grease?

They sell lil packs at auto parts store for like a dollar. It comes in a packet that looks like a quickwipe they give you when your eating wings or ribs Usually right by the counter with the dielectric spark plug boot grease. Its basically just a waterproof grease. I wouldn't be afraid to just use antiseize, but the 'correct' stuff is only a dollar.
