C5 Front brake Conversion LT1... hard or not?

How hard is it to do a C5 front brake swap on an LT1? and what is its advantages and disadvantages? and how much would it cost me roughly?

I didnt think it was too bad but i had the car on a hoist and air tools as well. The only thing that i didnt like was cutting the spindle. This was one of the best mods thati did however, the car stops unbelievably better than it did stock especially repeatedly where there is no noticeable fade. As far as cost it depends on weather you bu new or used but i would say it was worth while. Also i did ss lines at the same time.

Hardest part is cutting the spindles. Use a sawzall, have an extra blade or 2 on hand and a can of oil so your blades will last a while. Other than that its straightforward.

15" wheels will not clear the C5 brakes. 17"'s are a tight fit. There would be contact with the caliper. I got all my parts from Kore 3.

No blue, just red or gray calipers. If you want blue you'll have to paint them yourself.
You remove the stock discs, calipers and brake lines, cut the spindles, install the caliper mounts, install the new brake lines, calipers and discs and bleed the brakes. Pretty straightforward.
