C5 Conversion ALL DONE

I used a sawzall and a cutting wheel to cut the knuckle. Everything fit great! Kore4 brackets off ebay. They are a great make. Pics are work a thousand words.

C5 Conversion Bracket installed

Rotors

Just C5 rotor

Car stopped like factory, until you need the extra braking. Very happy with the fit and performance!

I plan on doing the same once I get some 17" rims. What's the final cost?

I was curious too as to how much this swap tallied up to total. Looks good BTW.

Kore3 brackets 170
Used C5 Calipers and lines 110
Pins and Hardware 23.00
Brake Pads 67.00
2 rotors 50.00

Just over 400

I had the Calipers painted by the body shop next door to the shop I work at. They were painting a black car so they shoot my calipers (hope the paint holds up)

I think I will be doing this shortly.....I just got my car back from my dad(he has had it for 3 years now, took me awhile but I had to buy it back) he has very bad maintenance habits so it really needs brakes all the way around and rotors......Got it up on stands right now and it wont be coming off untill they are all replace....Heck I even thought about doing the Kore3 C6 Z06 kit

Cool! Nice to seem some pictures!

I like the idea of C6 Z06 brakes....I wonder if they will fit behind 17" ZR1 wheels.

I have the ZO6 brakes behind the 17" Zr1s and they fit perfect.

The C5 or C6, I thought the C6 had to have at least 18" wheels to fit

does the factory master cylinder move enough fluid to correctly operate those calipers?
