c5 brake upgrade question

Do you need the brackets that come off the corvette as well, or do you just need the calipers? Do the brackets you buy to adapt the mounting point of the camaro replace these or are they still needed? I know about all the other stuff that is needed but I am wondering if the brackets that are on the corvette are needed. Any help will be appreciated.

If you are talking about the PAB then yes. This is the bracket that attaches the caliper to the Trackbracket or C5 conversion bracket. This link shows them attached off the car to our Trackbrackets along with others brackets.

You'll need the abutment bracket this connects the conversion bracket to the caliper. They are $35 each from Superior Chevrolet. I found Raybestos has a loaded caliper that has these brackets on it but I don't know if that was a fluke or not for $98 each.

I just found out the link doesn't work if you are not logged in as a member. I have emailed the owner of the site to see if he can change that.

I'm going to piggy back on this and ask if there is a difference in the master cylinder from an LT1 and the LS1 cars besides the resevoir shape. Are they both the same sized piston w/ the same outlet ports? Does it fit my 94's booster?
My resevoir is cracked and I need a new one and if its an upgrade or just plain fits i'm going to get the LS1 unit.
