1) Brembo - proven across multiple platforms and parts are very easy to obtain. Lots of race shops are Brembo dealers. I have 4 piston Brembos on my car and they freaking stop ...

2) StopTech - basically a Brembo clone. The German car owners really like them. Lou Gigliotti runs them on his World Challenge C5.

3) Wilwood - Seems to work very well on my nephew's Firehawk. It does seem to be a little tougher to get pads and rotors, though. Very limited distribution network. You should probably seek price and availability before you order.

4) Eradispeed - driveway jewelry

Re: brembo vs. wilwood vs. baer eradispeed

you can rip a set off the new infinitys. they come stock on the higher end cars. the new 350z clone has them stock. you'll need to fab the spindle or make a bracket like bob's c5 brackets. also youll need some new wheels if you dont already have a shallow 17 or 18's. my friend just recently bought some wilwoods, they are a pain to put together, you have to loc-tite everything, also he had to wire every nut to another so they dont back off. took him about 4 days. a lot of this stuff needs to be looked into before you purchase "big brakes". i'm not sure, but i think the brembo's come assembled, well, as assembled as possible. the rotor hats are connected to the rotor blanks.

It's a tough check to write and I thought he exact same thing ... till I got them on the car and saw what kind of maintenance they required.

Almost 2 years of road course/daily driving duty on 1 set of rotors and pads ...

from a 1 to 10 how good do they slow down?

oh and the idea of the ones from the infinities, i think ill just stay to getting new ones from a discount place somehow instead, beacause i dont want to go with to many problems of fitment issues etc. do you know of any place that probably is a couple hundred less than 2.9k!?

Are you actually going to road-race this car, or are you just looking for the best brake setup for the street? If you won't go racing, Brembos might be overkill for you. Also, like Mitch said before, you can get the Stoptechs which are very similar to the Brembos for around $2k. Good luck.

Any of those packages will slow down hard enough to hop the rear axle, with the proper pad compound. Even the stock brake package will do that ...

It's the cost of replacement parts and the frequency of replacement is the key point ...

No, those will not fit on a 95. The 98+ cars have a larger rotor, plus two piston calipers. So, if you wanted to put those on you'd need to do what's commonly known as the LS1 brake swap.

Yep, just go to the following links.
Link 1
Link 2
Those two links should list all the parts that are needed.
