Brakes

So I need to know what the best brakes are? I was going to order the Baer GT plus kit for my 96 Z28 but then I also looked at willwood and I don't know if I like them as much. Then I just saw a set on ebay and they are made by R1 concepts? They really dont look to bad but I wanted your guys opinion on everything. Thanks

I considered GT+ baer. Got the wheel fit template from their site. From measuments on a gm zr1 17x9 wheel, the clearance looks questionable. Now looking @ Baer tack system. Try umiperformance.com. They have a Corvette front wheel system. From what I have read here, they will fit a 17x9 zr1 gm oriiginal wheel.

I bought most of my c5 stuff from www.kore3.com

I got braided lines, conversion brackets, acd durastop semi metalliac pads, abutments, and all the hardware for 280ish from kore3.com The brackets and brake lines are great quality.

Then bought brembo blanks for 150 off i think tire rack(you could get rotors from autozone for 100$), and got 2 used ls1 calipers for like 30 bucks(autozone sells c5 calipers for 120 apiece).

I pretty much daily drive my car so I didn't see the need to spend 700-800$ on a kit, but at the same time wanted some kind of upgrade over stock.

Question Brakes

O sorry lol. The main use of the car is going to be track racing/autocross and some heavy street drag. I have 18" C5 ZO6 wheels. So what do you think? I'm doing a lot of GT style racing so I need some pretty high end brakes. Let me know what you think. I appreciate the help
