Unless you want to road race or autocross (either of which can benefit greatly from increased resistance to brake fade). Or unless you want the look of the bigger brakes in the front wheels. For the cost of the LS1 upgrade, it's probably worth it for you. The LS1 brakes can perform well on the track with racing pads, and are indeed much better than the LT1 brakes. And they will look better than the undersized LT1 brakes behind your wheels.
