Brake upgrade question

Thinking of upgrading the pads and rotors to 'Powerslot' slotted/dimpled rotors, with 'Hawk' pads.

I thought I heard/read that it may lead to brake noise?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Re: Brake upgrade question

it's a compromise for the most part.

good gripping pads tend to result in increased noise and more brake dust.

you don't need full race pads (noisy and dirty) for most applications. so you can get an in-between pad.

most will tell you that the slotted/drilled rotors are not all that effective.

check out the brake and suspension forum for more info.
