Hey everyone I own a 94z as my weekend warrior, however I am having a weird problem with a GMC jimmy that I own.

It has a auto transmission with 4wd. The 4wd is a manual stick.

I can shift into any gear from Park to Drive and all gears seem to lock into place, however when I go to push on the gas to get it moving it will not move the car. I have tried switching it to 2 High, 4 High, 4 Low and it does not make a difference. The other thing is that it will move forward if I rev the engine to about 5krpm and it will slowly creep forward, but just seems like either the tranny or the braking system is stopping me from going at a normal speed.

Another note is that when I bought this vehicle the parking brake release lever was removed, however I dont know how to tell if the parking brake itself is stuck. Again all gears seem to click into place fine I just cant move.
