which brake pads?

Changing front brakes and not ready to do the ls1 conversion quite yet. Curious as to which pads (ceramic) would be recommended i dont need super high end pads and dont want to pay a boat load especially since i eventually plan on doing the conversion. the products i am looking at are: satisfied pro ceramic, raybestos quiet stop non ferrous ceramic, akebono pract ceramic, friction master ceramic, bendix ct-3 ceramic? anybody have any opinions/suggestions/comments? thanks

My vote is for Hawk HP+. They work well enough not to do the LS1 conversion.

I've had good luck with the ceramic pads from the parts stores, $40-$50... haven't had problems with squeaking, and almost zero brake dust. As long as you use some brake pad paste you'll be fine.
