Brake bleading 97Z28?

Hi I have a 1997 camaro z28 with the traction control system.
I read in a book that I have to have some abs scan tool to blead the brakes.
Can somebody tell me if this is true?
Read in it a haynes manual that I must take it to the dealer ro a shop that has a Tech-1 or a T100-cams scaner.
Also I had my care broken into last week and would like to know if somebody can reprogram the alarm to not reset it self?
when hit hard enought of corse.

Thanks for any help,

Chris G.
