Best suspension mods?
Best suspension mods?
So far all I have really done suspension wise has been rear QA1/HAL 12 way adjustable shocks and Lakewood LCA's (no relocation brackets). What else is in line and has the best results? Im not sure I want to lower the car right now because I'd rather not hurt my e.t., but once the car gets to its goal, then I can slam it.
The goal is a nice mid to low 12 sec daily driver

Re: Best suspension mods?
I second the SFC. I got the SLP 3 points and I love em. However, I would not have bought them except for that I got a great deal on them since they're so expensive, and really overkill unless you have a convertible. Get some BMR weld ons and save the rest of the money for a torque arm. Relocation brackets helped me just as much if not more than just LCA. Remove the front swaybar also helps plenty. That's my next mod.
Re: Best suspension mods?
how does an aftermarket torque arm help out? I thought I see tons of guys on here with high hp cars and stock torque arms...
I just want straight line performance out of my suspension, no amazing cornering is needed.

Re: Best suspension mods?
Aftermarket torque arms help you hook a LOT better, esepcially the ones that relocate it off of the transmission to either next to the tranny or to the rear crossmember with a shorter arm. It does put a lot more stress on the rear though and can shorten the life of your stock rear. The TA is usually one of the last suspension mods because of this and since it's so expensive.
