i got a 95 camaro LT1, just wondering whats the best non adjustable out of the box shock/struts for eibach pro kit. i know the konis are the best, but i dont know if i can spend that much right now, especially being in canada the prices are outrageous. i will go koni eventually but just for now, to make the car decent, what should i be looking at?

You cannot run some basic Bilstein HD or any other basic shocks with lowering springs...i mean you can but its not gonna handle well.

The best bet would be some Bilstein revalved to the spring rates of your lowering springs.

Konis would definitely be the best bet, but otherwise, Bilsteins make a decent non-adjustable shock replacement.

I cold easily answer KONI all the way but it also depends on what are your need.

If its only for street manner and you will not want to play with the level of damper ,a set of revalved would be ok.

Example:I choose the Koni because i always like to buy the best i can get but also because i wanted a good street shock that i can adjust when i go for some lapping session.
