Best deal on triangular SFC's
I've been shopping around for a while now. I'm going to get triangular bolt in SFC's, bolt them in, then drive them to a guy who's going to weld them for me. He's never done them before, so I want the bolt ins so he can't mess up their location. UMI has them for $280, but I haven't seen them anywhere else, or any other brands that look decent for that matter. Anyone know a good place to get a good price, or a vendor on the site who might like to work a deal with me? Thanks.
Do they have bolt in style? I didn't think they did...maybe I'm wrong. Like I said, I'm getting them welded in too, but this guy has never done it before and I think having them bolted in will help keep him from screwing anything up.
With the triangular SFCs it would be pretty hard to get it wrong. You have 2 points to bolt it in place anyway at the tunnel brace and the LCA mount. You push the front end up against the front subframe and weld it in place. Then weld it at the LCA mount. As long as the weight of the car is on the tires and you don't melt a fuel line, its right.
