Best brake pads?

What brake pads are you guys using? I piecing together the LS-1 brake conversion for my GN and need some advice on brake pads. Basically this setup uses modified G-Body components to accept late model Camaro calipers and rotors. These should fit behind my 16x8 GTA wheels Im currently running on my car now. My car will see street/strip duty with alot of street miles. Ive put 10K on it in the 18 months Ive owned it. My car weighs 3720 with me and a full tank of fuel. I need something that will stop good on the street as well at the track, and have low dust. Im current using AutoZone pads now and cant stand all the brake dust...

Are there any upgrade calipers I can use? Did SLP use any special ones on the SS/Firehawks? Or are there Baer replacements? Also are you guys having any luck with drilled/slotted rotors?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Scott

I use Hawk HPS pads and ATE rotors from http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=17&ModelID=7. These brakes are great on my 02 Z28 with very little dust. I would not upgrade the calipers as they are fine as is.

Ebc greenstuff on mine with drilled front rotors. Excellent stopping power, very low dust, and they seem to be lasting a long time.
