Back End Loose Problem

Problem: The back end seems like the axle is loose side to side. The car is fine in a straight line over bumps, but going around corners, and particularly bumpy corners, the back end feels very loose and the back end drops to the back right corner.

I ran over a curb with the back rear tire going pretty fast.

I replaced the springs and shocks and replaced the panhard bar with the SLP boxed bar. I have all new tires and rims. I have the bolt on subframe connectors.

Better but still losse. What could still be loose or broken?

Re: Back End Loose Problem

I am no expert in this department but I think that it has to do with having a solid rear axle compared to an independent one. Meaning when the one tire reacts to a bump it wants to lift the other one up as well causing the rearende to jump a little. Just a thought.

True, but it was not like that before I hit the curb. Now it is abnormally loose.

Re: Back End Loose Problem

I have new lca's and bushings and a larger rear anti-sway bar ready to install. I hope that does it. Any other ideas?
