!ASR and brake lines

I'm going to be deleting the ASR from my car this summer.

So far I have non ASR throttle cable and then getting the new cruise cable. I have a non-ASR EBCM from another 96 Z28 too. What I'm going to do is buy a Strange 12-bolt with the ABS reluctor ring in the pumpkin for a 3-channel setup. While doing that I was just going to re-do my brake lines like the 3-channel style and run one back to the rear and and split them off, but I got a better idea...

My question is, would it be safe and work just the same if I took off the ASR module below the ABS modulator in the engine bay and make the split there since it is already setup that way with the 2 lines coming from the ASR module and the one line going from the ABS modulator to the ASR module? I dont see why it wouldnt function perfectly but there may be something I'm not thinking about as I'm not a brake expert. Just looking for some feedback on this. Also what could I use to connect the single brake line from the ABS modulator to the 2 lines that go back to my rear calipers?
