Any good deals on 4th gen shocks right now?

I've been out of the loop for too long, so I'm looking for pointers on shocks for my 96 TA. I'm currently running stock SLP takeoffs that are feeling squishy again after 4 or 5 years. I'm running SLP Eibachs and WS6 sway bars with 17" WS6 rims on BMR panhard bar and control arms with poly bushings everywhere. So I don't want to go too stiff on the shocks.

I used to like the sound of SLP Bilsteins (little softer than regular Bilsteins?), but they're probably not around anymore. How stiff are regular Bilsteins?

Where's the place to get shocks these days? Any GPs, by any chance?

Thanks for the help...

Talk to sam ... he sells regular Bilsteins, revalved, and Koni's too and can explain the pros and cons of each in relation to the springs you have.

Thanks for the tip. But, who's Sam? Remember I've been out of the loop for a while...

Oh, yeah. I think I recognize his name from the F-body mailing list years back. I'll check it out...

Wouldn't it just be simpler to link to his website, unless were not allowed to for some reason?

Talking with Sam allows him to get sam's experience/expertise on the shocks he sells. Just browsing online might get him "a shock" but with his springs he may or may not need something different like revalves:

Definately agree with you, but his website shows his number and email address...I think thats an easier way to reach him rather then through camaroz28.com. I'll most likely be calling him as well sometime soon for a new suspension setup as the stock bilsteins and eibachs are garbage.

Thanks guys. I checked out the site and he has a great selection and awesome prices. I used to order from www.shox.com (RD Enterprises) but I'll go with Sam this time.

Re: Any good deals on 4th gen shocks right now?

Wow, I just talked to Sam, and he definitely knows his stuff. Nice guy, too. He let me know that I'm running too heavy a rear bar (32/21 setup) and that I need to get that balanced out. Plus he gave me some good tips on spring selection. I'm still torn on that, though. I'm leaning toward SLP Bilsteins to go with my SLP Eibachs, but I've got to do more analysis of my current setup.

His hollow 35 mm front sway bar sounds nice...I may just get that first and see how everything feels before deciding on shocks...

Thanks for the help...

Me and a friend are installing the 35mm swaybars soon (They just arrived!)
His is a semi stock suspension, but hes putting koni's on. I have a lowered setup with bilstein revalves and an aftermarket PHB. Were both hopefully of some big changes, we'll see how it goes!
