Can anyone tell me if a '93 ABS computer will work in a '96? These things are becoming scarce and a new one is $600-$700...

 

Anyone? I know braking changes occurred between the years, but am unsure of which components.

 

I dont think it will. I'm not 100% sure but the brake systems were a bit different and the ABS system is probably a bit different.

Whats the part number of the computer you need? I just pulled mine out of my Z and its a 96.

 

I'll have to take a look at mine and see if the part number is on it. If it's a '96 then it should work. How much are you willing to let it go for?
