abs problem/question

hey guys, i'm having that problem where when i'm just about stopped the low traction light comes on and the abs kicks in. i've researched it and it seems its going to be one of the wheel speed sensors, prolly the one in the diff. the problem is it seems to be getting increasingly worse and last night the abs inop light came on and the pedal got real soft. i read in one of the posts that you could just disconnect the abs motor as a temporary band aid. since i don't have time right now to check the sensors i was thinking about doing this until my next day off. my question is, is this o.k. to do and does anyone have a picture showing me exactly what to disconnect under the hood so i don't screw anything up. thanks.

Re: abs problem/question

Get some brake cleaner and clean the abs sensors if that doesnt work replace them. Frequently they get dirty and this will happen
