Hey everyone, went through the search tool, wasnt really find any information i thought would help me with this problem, ABS will come on when i get on it, but its not even all the time. Also light is gonna when car is shut down and cranked back up

 

whenever the battery voltage gets too low, the ABS system shuts off. then you have to turn the car off to reset it.

 

How can I fix this? Its been doing it for about 2 years. I've since replace the alternator too and cleaned all my grounds..

 

When I had a problem like that it was because my rearend was toast and the ABS reluctor(sp?) ring in the rearend had broken.

 

Also if the center brake light bulb is fried, the ABS light will come on. Could be a poor connection. Sometimes the ABS wheel sensors need cleaning. The magnet will collect alot of powered metal and 'fuzz' the sensors output.

I had a problem like that, where sometimes my ABS Inop light would come on when I got on it, turned out to be a corroded battery terminal.
