Abs inop and low traction light on?

Hello i have a 95 z28 and when i drive the abs inop light comes on but the brakes are fine and also when i apply the brakes and i am almost to a full stop the brake pedal will fall a little bit and the low traction light comes on but the car does stop. I dont know what is the problem. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I had this issue; the rear ABS sensor that's mounted in the top of the differential got dirty. Remove and clean the sensor.

your center brake light good?

if it is, you need to get the codes pulled from the ABS module(EBCM/EBTCM)

What kind of scanner do you need to get the codes? Do they loan it out at Autozone?

you need one of the more expensive ones(mastertech, tech 2 , ect.), AFAIK, they don't have them at autozone

Re: Abs inop and low traction light on?

did you clean the sensor or just look at it? if you didnt clean it, spray it with brake cleaner or electronics cleaner. most likely it has small metal shavings on it since it is magnetic
