Question About the SLP eiback/bilstein kit...

I would just like to replace the old factory shocks/springs on my basically stock 95 z28. No giant upgrade to factory performance is necessary.

I like the lowered stance but it's my daily driver and sometimes it floods on my way to work(k&n cai sits so low.) That SLP kit says it only lowers it .5 of an inch. Does anyone have these? Any likes/dislikes or any other suggestions in the $650 range, that includes both the shocks and springs?

If it does lower it much more than about 1/2 inch, I will probably just go with the OEM replacement Moog springs and will have to figure out which shocks.

Also, are there any other necessary mods when lowering it only 1/2 an inch?

Thanks in advance for any input or suggestions

I installed the SLP kit on a friend of mines 2002 Z28 and it did nothing to lower it, rather raised it up. We even took a coil out anf it still sat kind of high. Personally, I would go with the SLP/Bilstein shock/struts, but would go with a prokit or DMS spring.
