97-04 Corvette calipers

Hi all, quick question. Will the 97-04 Corvette calipers (red ones) fit on my 2002 SS? Any modifications needed? Thanks everybody. Peace.

I believe the calipers are the exact same ones that are on the camaro, just with the addition of a "Corvette" emblem on them. That said, they should swap strait up, no problem. I believe he only difference between the LS1 brakes and the Vette brakes are the rotors.

You'll need some adaptor brackets, they won't just bolt up. Try doing a search in this forum. Lots of great info about the swap and what you need to do it here.

they are NOT the same caliper. the vette caliper is alot tougher, and better looking to boot.

Actually I believe they do bolt up however the positioning is off. The caliper was not made to mount in the factory LS1 position with the LS1 F-body rotor and wont be any good. Adaptor brackets and C5 rotors or else it just isnt worth it.
