87 Iroc 9-Bolt Rear Brake Upgrade

Am running the big Baier front brakes on the car and
wondering about going to bigger rotors and or calipers
in the rear.

Can go with Baier but out of budget after extensive engine
suspension upgrade. Can I upgrade to the later setup.

Any suggestions appreciated. Want to keep the 9-Bolt
Borg Warner even though seriously over matched by the
new engine. Running 3.27s with the TA cover and studs.
Might hold for awhile as more show than go.

Thanks

run the ls1 brakes out back,go to dealer, grab new backing plates with the parking brake built in for 62 a pice, thats 124,grab your rotors and pads and then the calipers and boom, your done...except the parking brake cable...they should bolt right onto your housing since it uses the 10 blt pattern ,at least it worked for my dana 44

Hi,

Thanks for reply and will check into the LS1 rear brakes.
Park brake issues on the Baier rear brakes were a problem
even if would have gone with them.

Will make sure there are no problems with the LS1 to
9-Bolt conversion before I get them.
