84 camaro shocks question
#2
FOr a daily driver, I wouldn't recommend any drag specific shocks. I tried that with some Koni special "D" rear shocks once, and that was the only time I ever got scared of my car. Especially at freeway speeds. You'll find yourself experiencing oversteer that could wreck the car.
You haven't mentioned price, since this greatly affects the decision as to the shocks you can buy. For price conciousness, I prefer KYB, though some people swear by Bilstein. I have Koni on the front of my '84, and Herb Adams adjustables on the rear. Guaranteed for life, I installed the Konis sixteen years ago and they are still in great shape after 100,000 miles.
