4th Gen Sagging Doors.

Having an issue with my doors on my 94 formula with 215k. Door is rubbing the front fender a bit and i have to adjust the window track so it doesnt leak. Do our doors have pins or hinges that wear after long periods of time? What can i do to fix this problem?

You have to replace the whole hinge assy.... Over time, because the doors are so heavy, the hinge does were down...

good luck finding hinges... GM no longer stocks.

I r&r'd my Formula with a set of pins from total auto... you have to remove the hinges, grind/press out the old pins. the new ones bolt in, and have knurls to hold the hinge--- unfortunately 1 of the 4 knurls doesn't engage on my one pin hole... not sure if this will cause long term probs or not.

It was about a 2.5 hour job after adjusting the door at the end.

Thats not the answer i wanted to hear unfortunatly. Its not that bad but you that you knows its not working properly. Ive adusted my windows so that they dont leak much but just a pain in the ars and looking to find a solution. Would finding hinges off another car help or be a waste of time?

Well im picking up a set of good shape door hinges of a low km parts car in hope i can swap hinges and line up the door and be done with it. I really dont it to get any worse and start having leaks around the windows cause it wont sit flush against the weather stripping
