Three or four options:
1) 1LE brake retrofit. See Steve Spohn for the parts. It'll cost you about $900 to $1000 and you will be able to retain 16 inch wheels and some 15 inch wheels. Also see: http://www.ws6transam.org/1LEbrake.html

2) C5 Corvette brake retrofit. See www.thirdgen.org and search the forums for details. You will have to upgrade the wheels to at least 16 inch, maybe 17 inch. It'll cost you $900 to $1000 to do it and requires some custom brackets.

3) Baer brake package. $1300 or more. Big rotors, Big, pretty calipers. 17-inch wheels, minimum. Nice performance, good looks. Comes at a cost, of course.

if your on a budget you could go with the 13" hd setup ed miller does over at www.thirdgen.org in the suspension section. there is also the ls1 upgrade.

the baer package 2 piston is a take off of the stock cobra 2 piston brakes. they work very well and look just as good doing it. i have a set of the 13" track kit myself however they can be a bit pricey when you get into all the options. you can get the baer in their sport kit which is 12" and fits most 16" rims. the only 16" rim i've seen a 13" track kit fit is the 91-92 z28 wheel and that's if you get lucky as there were 3 makes of that wheel and it only fits one.

it's all on what you want personally and what your budget fits...

hey thanks. Im wanting to go to 17 inch tires up front and 18's in the back. So it appears right now the Baers look good. Gonna keep looking around, and asking other forums. Thanks again
