3 point sfc vs 2 point sfc

are 3 point sfc that much stronger than 2 point? 2 point are around 150 while 3 point are 260. Im also ordering alot of other itmes and the extra cash could be put somewhere else. The only 2 points iv found are weld in only, id like Spohn since you lose no ground clearence with them, my car is lowered on a pro-kit. If i get 3 point it will be UMI. Car is a DD but i got to the track around once a month. T-Top M6. Thanks alot

3 point will help to triangulate the chassis, since our cars our uni-body, we need all the triangulation we can get. it will help on only side to side but also front to back. plus, a triangle is much stonger than even a square shape, which the two point would create. my advice is to go 3 point, and make sure they are WELD in. don't even bother with bolt in, they just strip the bolts and break loose on a daily driver. hope that helps you decision a bit, enjoy

i really don't think it will make a noticable difference in a street driven car. maybe on a full on autoX car...but really...the cars are strong to begin with (within reason) and any added structure is gonna build on that.

save the money
