1993-2002 rolling chassis weight

Does anyone know the rolling chassis weight of the 4th generation Camaro's? I have read that the LT1 weights 575 lbs with accessories, but do not know what the trans, exhaust and other parts weigh.

Any incite would be appreciated.

Regards,

Joe

its not 575 lbs.. ill tell you that much.

complete 4th gens weight between 3300 and 3700, so a chassis with no motor tranny or engine accesories would probably be around 2000 pounds depending on whats taken out of the interior, driveline etc

you misunderstood, hes talking about the motor weight not the rolling chassis.

im unsure of the manual, but a 4L60E with no fluid or converter is about 140lbs.

Sn8ke Eatr, you misunderstood. I meant the LT1 engine weighs 575 lbs.

So probably looking at 2400-2600 lbs with the drive line taken out?
