You guys asked for it, here it is! LS1 and LT1 Cam Kit Sale!

We’ve got two exciting announcements for you guys and gals.

First, our new website is partially up and as a promotion we’re going to having a cam kit sale for both LS1’s and LT1’s. For information on the cams we carry just go to www.cmotorsports.com, then choose your engine (LT1/LT4/LS1/LS6) under the “Engine Store” tab. Once in the engine store, click on Camshaft Design and try not to go into cam overload. There are quite a few cams listed and cams can be quite confusing, so if you have any questions about which cam will work out best for you, please feel free to give us a call.

Second, we now have a valve spring kit with titanium retainers for LS1’s and LS6’s that offers substantial savings and improved performance over other valve springs and retainers currently offered. The springs that come in the kit are part #EX-615 which we’ve been running in some of our own cars for quite a while to make sure they are up our standards. In our Z06, we’re currently shifting at 7200rpm with this valve spring kit and a .591” lift cam and in our 2001 SS we’re running a .615” lift cam shifting at 7100rpm. The springs fit on the stock heads/seats without machining, just install and go!

The EX-615 springs setup at 135lbs at 1.800” installed height, open up to 360lbs at 1.200”, and don’t coil bind until 1.110”. We recommend a cam under .620” lift as that is what we’ve tested to, but the springs can handle a little more. The retainers, part #EX-122, are aircraft quality titanium and offer the ultimate in high-end valve train performance. For a few pictures of the EX-615 springs and EX-122 retainers, check out www.cmotorsports.com/615springpics.html

Here’s what is included in the cam kits:

LT1 Cam Kit Includes:
Comp Cams Custom Ground Camshaft
Comp Cams Pro Magnum Roller Rockers (Self Aligning or Non-Self Aligning)
Guideplates (if you choose non-self aligning rockers)
CM-612 Valve springs (fit stock head without machining) good to .600” lift
Ultra Lightweight Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers
Hardened valve locks
***Free Hardened Pushrods Included*** (limited time)
Price-$589.97

LS1 Cam Kit Includes:
Comp Cams Custom Ground Camshaft
EX-616 Valve Springs
EX-122 Titanium Retainers
Hardened Valve Locks
Comp Cams One Piece Chromoly Pushrods
Limited Time Introductory Price-$597.97!!
That’s almost $100 off our normal low prices!

To place your order, just give one of our friendly sales people a call, we’re here to help. This sale will be running through next Friday 9/19. Thank you for your time.

As for what you might want to do while you're in there?

-Valve seals would be a great idea while you're swapping out your springs, I believe Combination has an awesome Blue Band valve seal to fit your need.

-Also some form of Timing Chain set. Depending on how hard you go, anything from a OEM LT1 set to a Double roller, which I believe CM also sells. Just as long as you get something.
It's always my philosophy, as long as you're tearing it apart, you might as well help to insure your motor a bit more.

-Lifters are also a good idea, again, you're there, why not?

Obviously this is all regarding budget, but good things to consider for a motor that is going to rev alot more and obviously be driven alot harder.

All of which can be had by the same place doing the GP.

What's the price on your Stage 2 and Stage 3 heads...

Is there any "Introductory Pricing"???

How about a package deal on a Heads and Cam Package??

I need them for the LT1...

No, unfortunately it does not include shipping.

As for the requests for Introductory pricing on heads to go along with this, we are going to keep the two separate for now.
Give us a call on the Head packages, we are redoing our website and pricing structure to create better deals for everyone.

There has been so much response to our springs and retainers that we have decided to do an introductory spring and retainer price.
Our Introductory package price for this shall be $199.95.
This includes the EX615 or the EX616 springs along with the EX122 Titanium retainers and locks.
