Hey guys, I'm a moderator at thirdgen.org and Rex posted his "raffle" in the forum I moderate. Today I come on to see a HUGE post declaring a "winner"
Well, the winner just registered for thirdgen.org minutes before Rex posted his user name.
So be aware that chances are this is a scam. And if so, spread the word.

I think after seeing he messed up bad with us a thirdgen.org, he just posted a name. That way if he posts a name rather than a user name, he can just make up some random name and tell people that "Mark" contacted him and recieved his hood (which fits perfectly)

doubt it check out the thirdgen.org board thats linked above....there were hundreds of posts in only a couple hours to the point where they had to lock it. Think rex is trying to be clever but really has just destroyed his business....

Eh, i say lay off the guy for a bit people, maybe were missing something here i dont care how bad it looks right now on "his" part. its innocent until proven guilty give the guy some time to plead his case. Im not here saying all you guys are wrong but there is always the chance you guys are blowing this way out of proportion. Give the people a day or so and lets go from there no need for trash talking, yet anyways.

You guys from TGO are ignorant as hell. Quit spreading s*** based purely on assumption. Each time I convince myself to read that board I'm reminded of why I never participate there, even though I've been registered since Dec of '99.

GTA4ME is preaching about "Senior Member" this and "Senior Member" that with all 316 of his posts, probably 30+ coming from that damn thread alone.
Mark A Shields, a moderator, is talking like he owns the place and like he is going to "get" Rex Orr for pulling something over on them, if in fact he did, which has yet to be determined.
joshp14 is another moderator...but he's an IP address verifying bada** if there ever was one, because you know...it's cool to be him.
That board is proof of what a bunch of morons on the internet can do, whether justified or not. Spreading word across the whole internet, basically, because they THINK they got "scammed," when in fact only one person would be deemed the winner, not all of them.
They posted a name of the supposed winner from this board, and said he's not in our user data base. But the name they provided was someone's first and last name, Mark Howery. Well my name is Eric Anderson, that's what I signed my e-mail entry with, just as Mark Howery could have.

It's people like that, that can ruin a business or a person because they feel they were screwed, when in fact that may not be the case at all, and they're just bitter about it.
Whether Rex did anything wrong or not, people like on TGO are completely ignorant, IMO.
