Alright, I figured I would try here, to support those who support this great site!

I am looking for a set of magnecor wires, the 8mm size, not the 10, for my 95 LT1 with the stock optispark distributor. I want them ran OTVC style though, as I have pacesetter longtubes and stock wiring would only encourage burt wires. So, what do you have as my options? I need a really good set of wires, as I am sick of wires arcing. Taylors did it, and two sets of superconductors did it. So, I am ready to step up to the best. If you know of any other brands that are high end, like NASCAR or F1 uses, let me know! I am done putting inferior crap on my car and dealing with the headaches!

YES! Well then, I take it no supporting vendors can do this for us? I posted this a while ago, no response... Maybe we should try contacting magnecor outselves GRndPNdN93Z and see if they can help us. Otherwise, I don't know where to turn to.

 

Thunder Racing sells Magnacor wires. Maybe try contacting them for the GP. I would be in for a set. http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...mid=64&sid=204

 

I did contact them. They couldnt do anything for me becuase I want OTVC wires. So not sure why they can't do a GP on custom ones, but I don't know. Maybe with more than just my order they would do it! I'll ask again!

Update, emailed thunder racing again, with the following measurements: Got these from a fellow member here, and they are the elite wire lengths for OTVC wires. 1. 29, 2. 30.5, 3. 33, 4. 33, 5. 37, 6. 41, 7. 41, 8. 40.5, coil. 10.25, and all the measurements are between the boots. So, assembled these wires would be the stated length plus both boots. Can anyone verify these numbers so that they will work? My motor is gone at the machine shop, or I would just do it myself!

three days since my email to them, still nothing... wonder if that means go away...

 

so does this mean no one cares about GOOD wires??? WTF! spend all that money just to used crappy ignition wires...

Magnecor sells directly and can custom make any length you need. I would just contact them.

 

problem is i need to know lengths. these wires are expensive, and I really don't want to F up... So I guess I will have to get the motor together, and measure them out myself, unless someone already has. I don't want to buy a set of elites or taylor OTVC's to get measurements and send them back, that is not right!
