TrackBracket (C5 to Fbody front brake conversion aka "Bishop") GP? @@ $239 a SET! @@

I think many of you know that these are tough to come by because they have to be made in batches. As a result, let's try another GP to get another batch done for the original C5 to F-Body front brake conversion brackets!

http://www.speedspecialty.com/store/...=c5fbodybrakes

These were formerly known as "Bob Bishop Brackets" and now known as F-Body TrackBrackets. Bob is no longer involved in these brackets, however his exact design and specs have been passed on so that they can be made once again using the exact same design, tolerances, material, hardware, and manufacturing process...right down to the packaging. Many of you know how well the brackets were engineered and tested far beyond reason. The unmatched quality and craftsmanship of these brackets have proven themselves time and time again.

So once again, let's try to get a GP going. We have room for only 7 orders at this very moment based on the batch that we plan to make. Any more than that and we will have to find an additional total of 11 more to fill a second batch.

The cost is $239 per complete set w/hardware plus shipping to the lower 48 states. International shipments please contact us.

We are looking into the production schedule at this time, and it could take approximately 4-6 weeks to have them made once a final amount is determined, just in time for the Spring mod season!

So right now we need to know if we can even get enough sets "pre-sold" to make this happen.

Please reply to this thread or e-mail us at sales@speedspecialty.com if you 100% definitely will purchase at least one set of these brake brackets. If you plan to buy more than one, please indicate this in your post. Once again, we need DEFINITE buyers only who can pay with credit card or PayPal as soon as we give the green light on this (which we cannot do until we are SURE we have 7 DEFINITE sets that will be sold). We also ask that if you know someone who is interested in this to please forward this information to them to increase the odds of this happening.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them or e-mail us. Once again, we are very happy to be bringing these to you again. Thanks!

So, let's get the list started! We need to know if this is going to happen SOON, so please don't hesitiate.

They should be headed to the anodizers in the next few days. Once they are boxed and ready, they'll be sent to me and ready to ship out. We're getting close.

The 12.8" C5 rotors are required. This isn't just for the calipers...it is for a total C5 front brake upgrade...but bracket mounts the caliper far enough out to allow room for the bigger rotor...its up to you to get all your own parts (calipers, rotors, lines, pads, etc.). Speed Specialty has the part numbers listed on their site.

I have "gen I" of these brackets, the original Steel version....let me just say the quality of the Trackbrackets blows away all other similar products on the market. Bob Bishop personally track tested his designs on his own personal car with countless laps at such places as Road Atlanta. Everybody else's stuff is a knock off of this product.

Before you buy another brand, ask them if their bracket has caliper standoffs with the correct height offsets to eliminate pad taper.

Has anyone here purchased anything from this company before?

They haven't been too eager to answer questions on this forum?
I have sent them four emails and got zero response?
They don't even list a phone number on their web site as a means to contact them?

Who does business like this?

Lots of people have, we have been around for a few years now.

Our manufacturring partner "trackbrackets" as well as others has been answering them for us...before we can anyway.

I have sent them four emails and got zero response?
FOUR?? We typically respond to e-mail within 24 hours, but if we missed yours, we apologies. I will look into it.

EDIT...looks like I missed one of your posts above as well. Sorry about that!

We do! We are an online company, and are pretty small and do the best we can. We are straight shooters, though. You can ask anyone who has dealt with us (if you can find them! :lol) We made a few of these GPs in the past, and as far as we know, no unhappy customers.

I can't believe that response to this has been so weak. Many times in the past when we would do a GP on these, we would have more buyers then units available and the price was $40 more. Now that we found a way to lower the price, it has been somewhat quiet.
