Strano Performance Hollow Sway bars.... Free shipping
Re: Strano Performance Hollow Sway bars.... Free shipping
The free shipping is only the sets.... Front bars are $199, with shipping to Colorado (assuming you are acutally in CO) you'd be looking at around $215-220 total to the door.

This may sound dumb but im not to familiar with suspension stuff. Would this be a hurt on a daily driven mostly straight line car? When I say hurt, I mean as in ET, 60', traction, weight, etc...?
Re: Strano Performance Hollow Sway bars.... Free shipping
Drag racing is not what these are built for. How much do you want to improve the way the car drives on the street? After all you drive there much more than not, right?
I'm not going to tell you "they're fine" or "no". Fact is, it depends on what your goals are for the car. And if you don't know them, or even have an idea of them, I can't be of much help.

Well yes its a street car. Matter of fact I havn't had it on a track in over a year. Yes I would like to improve the way my car handles on the street but if it would hurt my straight line speed any, I don't want it. I guess I'm looking for something that helps in both ways (turning yet less weight for the strip) and I probebly wont find it.

Nobody can tell you how much or even *IF* you times would be hurt. I have customers who's 60's didn't change, some went better, and some went slower. Suspensions are very interactive things. There are too many variables for anyone to know for sure.
If you run on a crap track and have no grip to start with, bars won't hurt you a lick. If you run on something really sticky and have a lot of power, they might.
You have to decide. I can't and won't do what most businesses will and tell you who this is the best thing since sliced bread for everything you do. They are for cars that are built to handle better first and foremost.

This is the same situation I am in. My car is not a race car, but I want it to feel like one.
I want it to go fast in a straight line, and handle well. I know you gotta have one or the other and cannot have both, but I would like to get it as close to the middle of both as possible.

This way you can have the best of both worlds. I drive 80 miles to work and back a day. I've lowered the car about 3/4", using the front, 24mm rear, bilsteins in the rear and Konis up front. Ivery happy with the handling and riding quatily..

Hello Sam,
I was looking for some information on bushings when I cam across a link to your thread. I have a 95Z I am doing a 6 speed conversion on next weekend. I am planning on swapping out my rear end for the one in my doner car since it has the right gears and I can install my exhaust system at the same time. Doing the bar while it's apart seems like a good idea.
My car is lowered with Eibachs, has a ground kit on it, take off shocks from SLP, and has a set of 18" wheels waiting for it. Would you recommend your bars to me? I plan on doing some more autocross with the car, I got a taste of it last summer and it was a lot of fun. Would you also recommend any other pieces? The car is my summer driver, no drag use, but gets played with anytime I get a nice curve
Thanks

Cool ZR. The bars are built for one thing, and that's to turn corners. That's what I do.
They'll compliment your springs and your use perfectly.
When you ask what else you should do..... shocks, and truthfully you should do those before or at the same time as the bars. The take-offs are stock, and stock shocks can't deal with lowering springs

I do, because no two situations are alike. I dont' know enough detail about yours to recommend anything. And even if I knew more, I don't do recommendations online because frankly, I can't *and* do a proper job of it.
I want my customers to have what suits them best (their budget if possible, and the use of the car, as well as the parts on it or that are planned for it).
