I'm in Chicago and even close to Naperville so I don't have to pay for shipping as soon as I get all these little misc parts ready thats going to be the next major purchase. I just don't like it that it does not come powder coated, you have to paint it yourself and I'm paying extra $55 for the aluminum cover. It's only $1750 here

Did you have anything else on it and did you pay shipping. I've been looking for a rear end for a week or so and I found two places here locally that want less than $2K for it. One was a used unit off of a one time run track car that hit a wall for $1400 which is probably what I'm going to buy since its already powder coated and tested/broken in lol. The other is a by R&R for $1600. I drove out to Strange and ordered the rear extra cooling and fluid cover w/gasket $150.

LOL, I had to stop writing this to e-mail Mark to tell him I'm buying the rear end just in case someone close to here was reading this...lol

So for 1550 I'm getting a almost brand new rear end 3.73 gears...

Even when I was at their shop a few days ago they had one unit there for $1900 but not painted.
