I may be interested in a Stage 4. Why isn't the Stage 5 good for the street? I mean will it wear out faster or what? Thanks, Jarred

it is VERY grabby and aggressive off the pedal. personally that does not bother me but it is a little much for some folks.

Stage 3 sound like the one for you, it is a good all around clutch.

Stage 4 is good to about 680 fwtq

Stage 5 is good to 1000 fwtq

The stage 5 is not considered very streetable as they can be hard to feather out from stop lights due the aggressive engagement manners of the sintered iron setup, but that is all a matter of opinion and preference

I'll get that info for you later today.

Fellas we have redone the prices for the sale as we mis-understood our discounts with SPEC Clutch. Thanks!

I bought me a stage II and 800 miles later spun a bearing, now with my new 383 I'm going to need a different clutch I assume, looking at ~425+ to the wheels. I believe the Stage II is only good to 450 crank HP? What's the Stage III good to, and is it worth the extra bit to a Stage IV?

The Stage 3 and 4 are rated at the same holding/clamping level of 680fwtq the main difference is that the Stage 4 has an unsprung clutch disk and is considered to be less streetable than the Stage 3. Personally for me since the cost difference is minimal I would get the Stage 4, but it will be very grabby for street driving when rolling out from stop lights and in stop and go traffic and such, where the stage 3 has a bit more give in the disk due to the springs. Check the pics below and look at the clutch disk and notice the stage 3 has spring and the stage 4 does not.
