Re: Roll bars/ Roll cages

The 8pt weld in cage is just a 6 pt with the two triangulated members in the rear seat area, correct?

If that is true, and we can purchase as late at 9/23, I am in for an 8pt weld in.

Chris

EDIT: this is going on the assumption that it is pre-notched like you stated in the post in LT1 tech.

Re: Roll bars/ Roll cages

Awesome, count me in for a standard weld in 8pt with dual swingouts.
$125 for cage
$60 for swingouts on each side
$69 for shipping to MN (from your website)
Total = $254 shipped

Count me in for the 6 point bolt in cage powder coated black with dual swingouts if I can get it for the $465 + $55 shipping to MA. How and when should we pay/order?

Re: Roll bars/ Roll cages

Does the 8-pt cage make it virtually impossible for people to sit in the back? Could the 8-pt just be welded in without the two other points, to make it a 6-pt?

Re: Roll bars/ Roll cages

Another quick question came to mind, do the weld in kits cost as much to ship as the prefab ones? I would think that it would be considerably less.

Re: Roll bars/ Roll cages

They charge the same in shipping. Sorry I have no control over that. An 8pt can be used as a 6 pt. We will take all money for orders on the 27th of sept.

OK, so are you just counting us guys in that post here, or do we need to call you for our order?

Ive had a couple calls today. Im keeping track of it. If you feel like calling me thats fine. 843-254-1442. If Im not in leave a message and I will call back. I advertise on a couple other boards. So we should have the 10 by the end of this week. But Im still going to wait just to give others a chance to get a good deal and to get the money up.

Re: Roll bars/ Roll cages

not to make you loose any sales but just letting people know what I think of S&W its not a bad bar but I was also told when I got mine it was pre notched it was but every bar had to be bent and renotched the only bar that was bent was the main hoop, I was happy with it for the price lucky that my friend has a fabracating shop with a bender and notcher I got mine direct from them and heres what I got and more pics on my site of what all i had to do on the install http://www.streetlethal.net/rollbar and for the people that asked about getting in the rear seat with the 8 point forget it from the front even with the 6 like all that I did its almost imposable to get in there you can get in there from the trunk but thats a pain in the butt.

This is why I asked in the other post how the fit was. This is a great deal, but I do not have access to a tube bender or jig.
